Maryellen Burke is a resident of Portsmouth, NH where she has been a leader in the community for over 25 years. Maryellen has experienced perspectives that can be leveraged for her clients. She is a nonprofit professional, including roles as board chair; volunteer; donor; and multiple staff leadership positions in small, middle, and large organizations. Sectors of specialization include healthcare, environment, and arts and culture.

Maryellen is a seasoned fundraiser with a demonstrated history of working with high net worth individuals, family offices, private and public foundations, and large and small nonprofits. For over ten years she worked at NH Charitable Foundation and also has direct experience as a nonprofit leader on the front lines. She has been trained by The Philanthropic Initiative in intergenerational philanthropic wealth advising with the Boston Foundation. She taught graduate classes on Fundraising and Nonprofit Leadership at the University of New Hampshire. Maryellen spent her early career teaching in the university setting after attaining her Ph.D. focused in English from University of Florida.
